Steps to Change Motorbike Oil
1. Warm Up the Engine
Start your motorbike and let it run for 5-10 minutes.
This warms the oil, making it flow more easily.
Turn off the engine and let it cool slightly to avoid burns.
2. Locate the Drain Plug
Place the bike on a center stand for stability. Ensure the ground is flat and even.
Find the drain plug underneath the engine.
3. Drain the Old Oil
Use the size 20 spanner to loosen the oil drain nut(drain plug)
Position the drain pan under the plug.
remove the plug.
Let the oil drain completely.
4. Clean the oil filter (optional)
Locate the oil filter (the filter is just beneath the oil drain nut). It is a small white plastic sieve
It can be removed with your hand (in most cases it will fall off when you remove the oil drain nut).
After cleaning it with petrol, return it before reinstalling the oil drain nut
5. Reinstall the Drain Plug
Once the oil has drained, clean the drain plug and its threads.
Reinstall the plug and tighten it securely. Use your hands always.
Once you reach the end with your hands, use your wrench to achieve just a little tightness. DO NOT apply too much force
6. Add New Oil
Use a funnel to pour in the recommended amount of new oil. 1 Liter of Motorol Magic 4T is enough.
Check the level with the dipstick ensuring it’s within the recommended range.
7. Check for Leaks
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
Check around the drain plug for leaks.
8. Dispose of Old Oil Properly
Pour the used oil into a sealed container.
